These are some brilliant ideas, thought provoking and compelling, as they successfully tap into human emotions.

Bartis asks the questions, if Art is a message, then how are we able to answer the message through traditional mediums?

Benayoun has a brilliant way of creating sentiment of cities based on real-time data, which utilizes Google News using current events, etc. to then create Art using this sentiment graph.

WordPress deserves all the recognition for what they’ve developed, a highly customizable, CMS and blogging platform used by more than 25 million. They recently earned the Hall of Fame CMS Award at 2010 Open Source Awards, and previously won Best Open Source CMS in 2009.

WordPress started in 2003 with a single bit of code to enhance the typography of everyday writing and with fewer users than you can count on your fingers and toes. Since then it has grown to be the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world, used on millions of sites and seen by tens of millions of people every day.
